Calling all Charities! Tapatap Donating 83,250 shares of the Company's Common Stock to Two Charities thru Two Tapatap Contests

(PRWEB) December 13, 2007 -- Tapatap's executive management and board members are donating 83,250 shares of the total company's common private stock to two charities. 41,625 shares to one local charity (located and servicing San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, or San Francisco County) and 41,625 shares to one national charity (located in the United States). To reward the stock grant, Tapatap is holding two online contests (local and national) for charity submissions and voting at the Tapatap website (www.tapatap.com or m.tapatap.com via mobile). Any registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization charity is eligible for submission, and anyone can vote for their favorite charity. The contest begins today and ends March 15, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

How do the contests work?

Once the contest is open, anyone can submit a charity logo to the contest. The charity must meet the requirements explained below, or they will be disqualified from the contest. Who is eligible for the local charity contest?

How do I enter a charity in the contests?

Go to www.tapatap.com or m.tapatap.com on your mobile phone and enter a logo jpeg of your charity in the contest under "submit photo".

How can I promote my favorite charity?

You can create "vote for me" badges on tapatap.com for placement on social networking site (i.e. MySpace.com, Facebook.com, Friendster, blog or web site. Your friends or community members can then click on the "vote for me" badge that will take you right to the charity entry so they can vote in the contest for your charity.

This is a cool idea, how can I promote the two contests themselves?

You can do the same way as the "vote for me" badge but this time you put a contest widget of the actually contest on your social networking site, blog , or web site. The contest widget is available on tapatap.com on the contest page under "post" button.

Charity Donation Official Contest Rules

Entry

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Log into www.tapatap.com and follow the directions to enter. You will need to submit a photo of your favorite charity's or nonprofit's logo. You can enter one logo each for the Local Charity Contest and the National Charity Contest. One entry per person per nonprofit organization per contest. You may not submit the same photo more than once.

Eligibility

CONTESTS ARE VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. The charity whose logo you submit must be a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. In the case of the Local Charity contest, the charity must offer 100% of its services in San Francisco, San Mateo and/or Santa Clara County. The charities for the National Charity submissions must be located within the United States and can offer their services anywhere in the world.

Voting and Winning

The winning charity for each contest will be selected in accordance with the voting and selection methods described in more detail in the Tapatap.com Rules, available at

Duration

The Local Charity and the National Charity Contests start on December 13, 2007 and end on March 15, 2008 at 11:59 pm PST.

Prizes

The winners of the Local Charity Contest and the National Charity Contest will each be awarded 1/2% of Tapatap, Inc. common stock. Tapatap makes no representations on the current or future value of the shares. The shares will be subject to the following restrictions: (a) Tapatap is a private company and its shares are not freely tradable, (b.) Tapatap has a right of first refusal on any future transfers of the shares, (c.) the winning charity must sign Tapatap's stock restriction agreement in order to receive the shares within 15 days of receipt of a copy for their signature, (d.) no voting rights are associated with these shares.
